Every Pokemon in the Paldea region · 664 Pokemon

664 / 664

Paldea is open world. Scarlet and Violet broke the linear route structure, so the Paldea Pokedex reads more like a checklist of everything you stumble into across a huge map. 120 new species in the base game, plus the Teal Mask and Indigo Disk DLC adding Kitakami and Blueberry content. Every Paldea entry in regional order below.

About the Paldea Pokedex

Paldea is the Gen 9 region from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Switch. Paldea is Pokemon's first fully open-world mainline game: you can go anywhere in any order from the start. The Paldea Pokedex holds 400+ entries including 120 new Pokemon, with DLC expansions for Kitakami (Teal Mask) and Blueberry Academy (Indigo Disk) on top.

Starters in Paldea

Paldea starters are Sprigatito (Grass), Fuecoco (Fire), and Quaxly (Water). Final forms Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval add Dark, Ghost, and Fighting types respectively.

Legendary Pokemon in Paldea

Koraidon is the Scarlet cover legendary. Miraidon is the Violet cover legendary. Both double as your mount. Paradox Pokemon are ancient or futuristic versions of existing Pokemon exclusive to Scarlet or Violet. Terapagos is central to the Indigo Disk DLC.

Paldea Gym Leaders and Three Paths

Scarlet and Violet branch into three simultaneous storylines. Victory Road is the traditional gym circuit with eight leaders. Path of Legends sends you after Titan Pokemon. Starfall Street has you dismantling Team Star bases. Finishing all three unlocks the final Area Zero story.

Completing the Paldea Pokedex

A full Paldea pokedex combines the main region dex with Kitakami and Blueberry Academy DLC dexes. Terastallization, exclusive to Paldea, lets any Pokemon change its type in battle, which is important for competitive Paldea builds. Six-star Tera Raids are the main endgame content for rare Paldea Pokemon.
