Pokémon Champions Pokédex

Pokémon Champions is a free-to-play competitive battle game. Unlike mainline titles, it doesn't use a regional Pokédex. Instead, the playable roster is hand-picked by Game Freak and rotated seasonally through what the game calls "Regulations." Every Pokémon below is currently on the roster as of game version v1.0.2. No Legendaries, Mythicals, or Paradox Pokémon are included, and only final-stage evolutions appear on the list (with Pikachu and Eternal Flower Floette as the two deliberate exceptions).

You can recruit Pokémon inside Champions or transfer them from Pokémon HOME. When the next regulation cycles in, some species will become unavailable until they return in a later rotation. Check back here or the in-game Roster Ranch for the current list.

How many Pokémon are in Pokémon Champions?

187 species are currently playable, plus 59 Mega Evolutions. The current roster is version 1.0.2.

Why are there no Legendary or Mythical Pokémon in Champions?

Champions is a competitive battle game with a curated roster. Legendaries, Mythicals, and Paradox Pokémon are excluded so the metagame stays balanced.

Does the roster change over time?

Yes. Game Freak rotates species in and out via "Regulations." When a regulation shifts, some Pokémon become unavailable until they return in a future rotation.

Can I transfer Pokémon from other games?

Pokémon can be recruited inside Champions or transferred in from Pokémon HOME. Eternal Flower Floette (Legends: Z-A) currently requires a HOME transfer.

Are evolutions and pre-evolutions available?

Only final-stage evolutions are in the roster, with two exceptions: Pikachu and Eternal Flower Floette. Game Freak has mentioned earlier stages may appear later.
