Name All Pokemon FAQ

How does the Name All Pokemon challenge work?

You get a configurable timer (5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes, or no timer at all). Type each Pokemon name you can remember into the input. When you match one of the 1,025 Pokemon, its silhouette in the grid below reveals in full color. The game ends when the clock hits 0:00 or you press End.

Is case and punctuation important?

No. Input is normalized, so capital letters, spaces, apostrophes, and periods are all ignored. For example, typing "mrmime", "MR. MIME", and "Mr Mime" all register as Mr. Mime.

How many Pokemon are there total?

There are 1,025 Pokemon as of the latest Pokedex update, from #0001 Bulbasaur onward through Generation IX and its DLCs.

What is a good score?

Casual fans typically name 100-300 Pokemon in 15 minutes. Devoted fans reach 500-700. Completing all 1,025 is extremely rare — it requires near-perfect recall of every generation.

Can I pause the timer?

Yes. The Pause button stops the clock and disables input until you resume. Use it for breaks without losing progress.
