How filters work

Type. Pick one to see every Pokemon of that type. Pick two or more and switch between Any (at least one type matches) and All (must have every selected type, so dual-types only).

Game. Pick one or more games to limit the grid to Pokemon in those regional Pokedexes. Selecting multiple games adds their rosters together.

Combined. Type, Stage, and Game filters stack. A Pokemon has to pass every active filter to show up, so Fire + Stage 1 + Scarlet will only return Fire-type Stage 1 Pokemon available in Scarlet.

Searching the Pokedex

Type a Pokemon name, national dex number, or type into the search bar to filter all 1025Pokemon instantly. Partial matches work, so typing "char" returns Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard. Numbers like "025" jump straight to Pikachu. Searches update as you type with no page reload.

Sorting and Pixel Mode

The sort dropdown reorders the Pokedex by National Dex number (ascending or descending) or alphabetically by name. The Pixel toggle swaps the official artwork for classic Gen 8 pixel sprites. Pokemon from Gen 9 that don't have a pixel version automatically fall back to standard artwork.

Filtering by Type and Game

Use the sidebar to narrow the Pokedex by one or more of the 18 Pokemon types, by evolution stage, or by which main-series game each Pokemon appears in. Filters stack: selecting Water + Stage 1 + Red & Blue returns every first-stage Water Pokemon available in the original games.
