Pokemon Y is X's counterpart. The Pokemon Y Pokedex matches X's split structure across Central, Coastal, and Mountain Kalos sub-dexes. Yveltal is the Pokemon Y cover legendary, tied to destruction in Kalos folklore. Pokemon Y gets Mega Mewtwo Y instead of Mega Mewtwo X, and swaps a handful of version-exclusive Pokemon.
