About Pokemon Moon
Pokemon Moon is Sun's counterpart for the Alola debut. The Pokemon Moon Pokedex matches Sun's Alola list, but Lunala replaces Solgaleo as the cover legendary. Pokemon Moon's 12-hour time offset means night-time Pokemon in Pokemon Sun are the day-time Pokemon in Pokemon Moon.
Ultra Beasts in Pokemon Moon
Several Ultra Beasts are Pokemon Moon-exclusive, including Pheromosa and Celesteela. Pokemon Sun gets Buzzwole and Kartana. Each Pokemon Moon Ultra Beast appears in a unique storyline mission in the post-game, which differ version to version.
Completing the Pokemon Moon Pokedex
Pokemon Moon pokedex completion is the same Alola four-island grind as Sun, with Moon-specific Ultra Beasts. Totem-sized Pokemon are Pokemon Moon-exclusive versions of certain boss encounters and cannot be transferred out of Alola.
