About The Teal Mask
The Teal Mask is the first half of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, released in late 2023. The Teal Mask Pokedex, the Kitakami Pokedex, is centered on rural Japanese folklore. Ogerpon is the Teal Mask mascot, a new mythical-tier Pokemon who changes form based on which mask she holds (Teal, Hearthflame, Wellspring, Cornerstone).
Loyal Three in The Teal Mask
The Loyal Three (Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti) are three new legendary Pokemon central to Kitakami's folk legends. Each has a Poison and Fighting, Poison and Psychic, or Poison and Fairy typing, reflecting their story role. All three appear as open-world bosses in The Teal Mask.
Completing The Teal Mask Pokedex
A complete Kitakami pokedex (The Teal Mask) counts Pokemon caught in the Kitakami region plus returning Paldea species. Ogre Oustin' minigames, festival side content, and Bloodmoon Ursaluna hunting are The Teal Mask's main post-story activities. The Teal Mask save carries forward to The Indigo Disk.
