Pokemon FireRed is the Gen 3 remake of Pokemon Red. The Pokemon FireRed Pokedex brings the original 151 Kanto Pokemon to the GBA with updated sprites, new Sevii Islands content, and a cleaner user interface. Post-game adds Tanoby Ruins Unown and some Hoenn imports. Full Pokemon FireRed pokedex is below.
About Pokemon FireRed
Pokemon FireRed is the 2004 Kanto remake of Pokemon Red, built on the GBA with Gen 3 mechanics, new sprites, and revamped user interfaces. The Pokemon FireRed Pokedex lists the original 151 Kanto Pokemon, with the Sevii Islands post-game adding access to Gen 2 and Gen 3 Pokemon. Pokemon FireRed introduced wireless adapter multiplayer for GBA.
Sevii Islands in Pokemon FireRed
The Sevii Islands are Pokemon FireRed's big post-game addition, a nine-island chain northeast of Kanto. Each island unlocks progressively: new trainers, new Pokemon, and story events with Team Rocket returning. Tanoby Ruins on Seven Island is where all 26 Unown letters can be caught.
Completing the Pokemon FireRed Pokedex
A complete Pokemon FireRed pokedex is the classic Kanto 151 plus the Sevii Islands imports. Trading with LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald is required for complete Gen 3 national dex completion. Pokemon FireRed also allows link trading with Pokemon Colosseum and XD for Shadow Pokemon imports.
