Plenty of Pokemon have a temper. These ones have the worst of it, and none of them needs much of a reason.
Here are the 15 angriest Pokemon:
Zebstrika is ill-tempered, and when it runs wild it shoots lightning from its mane in all directions.
It is the Thunderbolt Pokemon, 1.6 m tall and 79.5 kg.
Hippowdon is short-tempered and easily moved to violence. It whips up whirlwinds of sand to crush its foes' spirits before it goes in for the attack.
It is the Heavyweight Pokemon, 2 m tall and 300 kg.
Nidorino is easily angered. It swings its well-developed horn wildly and can punch through diamond that way.
It is the Poison Pin Pokemon, 0.9 m tall and 19.5 kg.
A young Kangaskhan playing by itself is a trap. The baby's parent is sure to be nearby, and it becomes violently enraged if you try to catch the youngster.
It is the Parent Pokemon, 2.2 m tall and 80 kg.
Jolteon bristles its fur into sharp, needlelike points when enraged, and electricity crackles in its breath when it exhales.
It is the Lightning Pokemon, 0.8 m tall and 24.5 kg.
Cyndaquil flares flames from its back to protect itself, and the fire burns vigorously if it is angry. A tired Cyndaquil only sputters. (We have met people with the same two settings.)
It is the Fire Mouse Pokemon, 0.5 m tall and 7.9 kg.
When Wigglytuff gets angry, it inhales with all its might and its body gradually inflates. Some can grow 20 times larger.
It is the Balloon Pokemon, 1 m tall and 12 kg.
The volcanoes on Camerupt's back have a major eruption every 10 years, or whenever it becomes very angry. It is the only Pokemon here with a calendar for its tantrums.
It is the Eruption Pokemon, 1.9 m tall and 220 kg.
Beedrill is extremely territorial, and if it is angered the whole nest will attack in a swarm.
It is the Poison Bee Pokemon, 1 m tall and 29.5 kg.
Drampa is a kind and friendly Pokemon, up until it is angered. When that happens it stirs up a gale and flattens everything around.
It is the Placid Pokemon, 3 m tall and 185 kg.
When its anger reaches a breaking point, Vanilluxe unleashes a fierce blizzard that freezes every creature around it, friend or foe.
It is the Snowstorm Pokemon, 1.3 m tall and 57.5 kg.
If Charizard becomes furious, the flame at the tip of its tail flares up in a light blue shade.
It is the Flame Pokemon, 1.7 m tall and 90.5 kg.
A tale is told of a town that angered Gyarados. Before the sun rose the next day, flames utterly consumed the town, leaving not a trace behind.
It is the Atrocious Pokemon, 6.5 m tall and 235 kg.
Flying keeps Salamence in high spirits, but it turns into an uncontrollable menace if something angers it.
It is the Dragon Pokemon, 1.5 m tall and 102.6 kg.
Primeape never forgives opponents who have angered it, and keeps going even after beating them down until they cannot move. The blood vessels in its brain are sturdier than those of other Pokemon, so it stays healthy despite constant raging. Its pre-evolution Mankey is no calmer: when one gets angry, the others around it get angry too.
It is the Pig Monkey Pokemon, 1 m tall and 32 kg.
Several of the 15 show their anger before they act. Charizard's tail flame turns light blue, Wigglytuff inflates, Jolteon's fur bristles into needles and Cyndaquil's fire burns harder. The top three give no such sign. Gyarados burns a town overnight, Salamence turns uncontrollable once something angers it, and Primeape never stops raging.
Primeape. It never forgives opponents who have angered it.
Salamence, at 600.
No. It is kind and friendly until something angers it.
