The detail page shows encounter location data per game. It tells you where to find a Pokemon, what method to use, and any special conditions. The data comes from the official PokeAPI.
Step 1
Open the Pokemon's detail page and select the game you're interested in from the game list or Generations tab.
Step 2
Scroll to the encounter locations section in the game view. Every location where the Pokemon appears in that game is listed.
Step 3
Each location shows the encounter method. Walking for tall grass, Surfing for water, Fishing with different rods, and others depending on the game.
Step 4
Some encounters have conditions. Time of day (Morning, Evening, Night), weather, or other in-game requirements that need to be met.
Step 5
If a Pokemon can't be found in the wild in a specific game (trade only, event only), the encounter section reflects that.
