Browsing the Pokedex

What are the region Pokedex pages?

There are Pokedex pages for every Pokemon region. Each one lists only Pokemon found in that region, using regional Pokedex numbers instead of National numbers. Over 30 regions are covered.

Step 1

Region pages follow the URL pattern pokepedia.com/pokemon-[region-name]-pokedex. For example, pokepedia.com/pokemon-kanto-pokedex shows all Kanto Pokemon.

Step 2

Each card displays the Pokemon's sprite, name, and regional number. A Pokemon might be #25 nationally but #36 in a particular region's Pokedex.

Step 3

Search and type filters work the same as the main Pokedex. Find specific Pokemon within a region's roster quickly.

Step 4

Click any card to open the full detail page with stats, evolution chain, type matchups, forms, and everything else.

Step 5

Region pages are useful if you're working through a specific area in a Pokemon game or tracking regional Pokedex completion.

Every region from Kanto to the latest has its own page with proper regional numbering.
