How to share your Pokemon team with a URL

The Pokepedia Team Planner stores your six-slot team directly in the browser URL. Copy the URL to share your exact team with anyone, or paste it into another device to load the same team there. No account, no server, no save button.

Step 1

Open /pokemon-team-builder. Pick a game in Step 1 so the planner knows which Pokedex the team is drawn from. Use "National" if you want every Pokemon available.

Step 2

Add six Pokemon from the Step 3 grid, or press the Randomize button in the Step 2 toolbar to fill all six slots from the current game pool. As the team changes, the URL updates automatically with ?game= and ?team= parameters.

Step 3

In the Step 2 toolbar press the Share button. On phones and tablets this opens the native share sheet for AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or any installed app. On desktop it copies the URL to the clipboard and the button flashes "Copied".

Step 4

Paste the URL anywhere: a chat thread, a note, a forum post. The URL looks like /pokemon-team-builder?game=scarlet&team=koraidon,meowscarada,skeledirge,quaquaval,gholdengo,flutter-mane. The order of Pokemon in the URL matches the order of slots in the grid.

Step 5

To load a shared team, open the received link in any browser. The planner reads the game and team parameters, selects the game, and places every Pokemon into the six slots. Edit from there or press Randomize to reshuffle.
