The Tracker works at three levels: game, region, and National Pokedex. You log catches at the game level. Games roll up into regions. Regions roll up into the National Dex. You only need to mark catches per game and everything else stays in sync on its own.
Step 1
Open the Tracker and look at the sub-trackers. Two lists: every game and every region. Each has a progress bar showing your count versus total, like "12/256."
Step 2
When you catch a Pokemon in a game, that game's progress bar updates. Because games belong to regions, the region bar updates too. And because regions are part of the National Pokedex, your overall count goes up. All three levels sync automatically.
Step 3
Click a region to filter the table to that region's Pokemon. Caught/uncaught status reflects catches across all games in that region. Caught something in Pokemon Gold? It shows as caught in the Johto region view.
Step 4
Inside the region view, you can filter by Caught, Missing, Caught Shiny, or Missing Shiny. See exactly what you still need in that region.
Step 5
Switch between game view and region view anytime. Game view shows one title's progress. Region view shows combined progress across all games in that region. Both pull from the same catch data.
