Some Pokemon get called a magician or a pirate long before anyone says their name. None of these labels has enough Pokemon behind it for a list page of its own, so they share this one. Each section names the best fit and the others that come close.
The Magician Pokemon: Meowscarada
Meowscarada is the Magician Pokemon, a Grass and Dark type with that exact category in its Pokedex data. Kadabra and Alakazam come from the same trade, since their design appears to be based on magicians and spoon benders. Nobody asked the spoons.
The Jungle Pokemon: Zarude
Zarude is a Dark and Grass type. Its design draws on the way monkeys and apes are often depicted swinging on vines in jungles.
The Three-Headed Pokemon: Hydreigon
Hydreigon is a Dark and Dragon type, and its three heads take turns sinking their teeth into the opponent. Exeggutor has three heads too, and its Pokedex entry says Exeggutor's three heads can put out powerful psychic energy. Dodrio's triple head might be a biological mutation, which is a calm way to describe a bird with three heads.
The Detective Pokemon: Gumshoos
Gumshoos is a Normal type shaped like a mongoose or honey badger with detective motifs. It literally stakes out Rattata nests, which is the whole job.
The Rain Pokemon: Politoed
Politoed's Hidden Ability, Drizzle, likely alludes to the association between frogs and rain. Masquerain waits out rainy days in tree hollows. Castform has a Rainy Form that resembles a droplet of rain on a dark cloud, and Bronzong's face looks like the Mesoamerican rain god Tlaloc.
The Headphones Pokemon: Tympole
Tympole's spherical bumps resemble headphones. Meloetta has a black headpiece that resembles a headset microphone, and Whismur's ears resemble earmuffs.
The Pirate Pokemon: Dhelmise
Dhelmise is a Ghost and Grass type. The anchor it holds evokes the stereotypical face of a pop culture pirate with an eyepatch.
The Graveyard Pokemon: Cofagrigus
Cofagrigus is a Ghost type, and its Pokedex entry mentions many depictions of it decorating ancient tombs. Greavard and Houndstone are Ghost Dog Pokemon. Greavard's design appears to be a stand-in for a grave candle.
The Mummy Pokemon: Dusclops
Dusclops is a Ghost type. Its Pokedex entry says there are rumors that peeking inside its bandage-wrapped body will cause one to get pulled in, and the writer adds, "I've been too scared to verify." That is the right amount of curiosity.
The Devil Pokemon: Houndoom
Houndoom's horns and pointed tail resemble common depictions of the devil. It is a Dark and Fire type. Poochyena's biting resembles Tasmanian devils, a different kind of devil.
The Chef Pokemon: Slurpuff
Slurpuff is a Fairy type, and its design may be based on a chef and a food taster. Dondozo may also be based on a sushi chef, considering its relationship with Tatsugiri. Only one of them gets to taste the dessert.
The Troll Pokemon: Grimmsnarl
Grimmsnarl is a Dark and Fairy type that may be based on trolls among other brawny humanoid creatures from myths and legends. Druddigon turns up here for a smaller reason: its habit of going immobile when cold recalls gargoyles and trolls.
The Titan Pokemon: Regigigas
Regigigas is the Colossal Pokemon. Cetitan has the word in its name, and its design appears to be based on various species of cetaceans.
The Farmer Pokemon: Drilbur
Drilbur damages vegetable crops, and its Pokedex entry says many farmers have little love for it. Cacturne is the Scarecrow Pokemon, which at least keeps it on the farmer's side of the field.
The Farm Pokemon: Skwovet
Skwovet shows up on farms, searching for more berries. Tropius has a calmer arrangement, because in warm areas many ranches raise Tropius.
The Red Eyes Pokemon: Noctowl
Noctowl is based on a horned owl, particularly the Eurasian eagle-owl due to its red eyes. Its pre-evolution Hoothoot shares that design and is combined with a clock.
The Talking Pokemon: Chatot
Chatot is skilled in the imitation of human speech. Latias is capable of understanding human speech, though it keeps its answers to itself. Squawkabilly is the Parrot Pokemon.
The Bow Pokemon: Sylveon
Sylveon emits a soothing aura from its ribbon-shaped organs. Illumise has a yellow bow-like shape under its neck. Glameow is partly based on a ribbon gymnast.
The Builder Pokemon: Machoke
Machoke voluntarily assists with tasks such as construction and clearing land. Watchog's design is possibly based on a road worker. Diggersby is the third on the crew, since it hangs out at construction sites.
The One Eye Pokemon: Magnemite
Magnemite has a single eye embedded in an iron sphere. Dusknoir appears to be a cyclopean ghost, and Melmetal may have been based on the Cyclops.
