Some Pokemon travel in packs, and some are left with nobody. A few of them have it written in their descriptions that they miss someone.
Here are the 15 loneliest Pokemon:
Tynamo is small enough that one alone can emit only a trickle of electricity, so a group of them gathers to unleash a powerful shock. On its own it has very little to offer.
It is the EleFish Pokemon, 0.2 m tall and 0.3 kg.
Carvanha will not attack while it is alone, even if it spots prey. It waits for other Carvanha to join it, and then the group attacks.
It is the Savage Pokemon, 0.8 m tall and 20.8 kg.
By baring its fangs and making a scary face, Snubbull sends smaller Pokemon scurrying. It does seem a little sad at making its foes flee.
It is the Fairy Pokemon, 0.6 m tall and 7.8 kg.
Bagon is a solitary Pokemon that does not form groups with others of its kind. Its head is hard enough to cleave a boulder in one strike.
It is the Rock Head Pokemon, 0.6 m tall and 42.1 kg.
Prinplup lives a solitary life, and its wings deliver blows that can snap even the thickest of trees.
It is the Penguin Pokemon, 0.8 m tall and 23 kg.
Phantump is created when spirits possess rotten tree stumps, and it prefers to live in abandoned forests.
It is the Stump Pokemon, 0.4 m tall and 7 kg.
As Rockruff develops, its disposition grows violent and aggressive, and many Trainers find it too much to handle and abandon it.
It is the Puppy Pokemon, 0.5 m tall and 9.2 kg.
Banette developed from an abandoned doll that amassed a grudge, and it is seen in dark alleys.
It is the Marionette Pokemon, 1.1 m tall and 12.5 kg.
Mankey can become enraged without warning. Everyone near it clears out as it rampages, and the resulting loneliness makes it angrier still.
It is the Pig Monkey Pokemon, 0.5 m tall and 28 kg.
Seeking to ease the burden of their solitude, lonely Trainers tell Zoroark to show illusions to them. It plays make-believe for a living.
It is the Illusion Fox Pokemon, 1.6 m tall and 81.1 kg.
Taillow is young and has only just left its nest. It sometimes becomes lonesome and cries at night.
It is the Tiny Swallow Pokemon, 0.3 m tall and 2.3 kg.
Sinistea is said to have been born when a lonely spirit possessed a cold, leftover cup of tea. (We have had worse company in a teacup.)
It is the Black Tea Pokemon, 0.1 m tall and 0.2 kg.
Goodra is an amazingly friendly Pokemon, but if left to itself, loneliness overcomes it and it oozes gooey tears.
It is the Dragon Pokemon, 2 m tall and 150.5 kg.
Mimikyu is a quiet, lonely Pokemon, and it wears a rag fashioned into a Pikachu costume in an effort to look less scary. The costume makes it creepier.
It is the Disguise Pokemon, 0.2 m tall and 0.7 kg.
Cubone wears the skull of its dead mother on its head, and when it becomes lonesome it is said to cry loudly. The memory of its mother brings it to tears, and its cries echo within the skull.
It is the Lonely Pokemon, 0.4 m tall and 6.5 kg.
The bottom of the list holds the Pokemon that just live alone. Tynamo, Carvanha, Bagon and Prinplup are described without sadness, as solitary or as waiting for company before they act. The top of the list holds the ones that lost something: Cubone's mother, the doll Banette used to be, the Trainers who abandon Rockruff and the spirit that became Sinistea. Being alone is a habit in these entries, and loneliness is what follows a loss.
Cubone. It wears the skull of its dead mother and cries when it becomes lonesome.
