How do I remove ads?

Pokepedia.com shows ads because it costs real money and resources to build and run. Server costs, API infrastructure, development time, ongoing maintenance, keeping up with new Pokemon releases. Ads are the only revenue source. And in exchange, every single feature is free. Nothing is locked, nothing is held back, nothing is limited. You get everything whether you pay or not. But if you want the ads gone, there's a Premium option.

Step 1

Look for the Premium upgrade option on the site. It removes every ad from every page.

Step 2

That's all Premium does. Remove ads. There are no extra features, no exclusive tools, no locked content. A free user and a Premium user have the exact same Pokedex, same tracker, same random generator, same import/export, same everything.

Step 3

This was a deliberate choice. A lot of sites gate features behind paywalls or limit what free users can access. Pokepedia.com doesn't do that. Every trainer gets the full toolkit from day one.

Step 4

The revenue from ads and Premium goes directly into keeping the site running: hosting, data infrastructure, updates for new generations and games, bug fixes, and feature development.

Step 5

Premium is optional. No nag screens, no pop-ups, no degraded experience for free users. If you want to support the project and browse without ads, it's there. If not, use everything for free with ads.

Everything is on the table for free because that's how it should be. Ads keep the lights on. Premium is just a way to remove them while supporting a project that gives you everything upfront.
